Our mission is to honor, empower, and inspire hope through guided outings that foster life skills and create meaningful connections with nature. Founded by Kyle Thissell, Northern Nevada Outfitters was born from their shared passion for the outdoors and a deep desire to make a positive impact. Kyle, a seasoned hunter with over 28 years of experience, grew up in Oregon with a love for nature that led him to a career as a guide. After surviving his own battle with cancer, Kyle was inspired to create an organization that could offer others the same sense of solace and strength he found in the outdoors. His dedication to conservation, mentorship, and responsible hunting practices shapes the foundation of our programs.
